About Gin Rummy
Gin Rummy against the Widow Hale is the two-hand classic, matches to a hundred: knock light and beware, for she remembers every card you lift from the pile. Play solo, or take a seat at a live, rated table. Free in your browser, no ads, no sign-up.
How to play
Take ten cards each. On your turn, draw from the stock or the discard, then discard one. Gather melds of three or four of a kind, or runs of three or more in a suit; unmatched cards are deadwood. Knock when your deadwood is ten or less, or go gin with none, and the difference in deadwood scores after layoffs.

Tips
Watch what she takes from the discard and never feed that rank or suit. Knocking early for a small score often beats holding for gin, since a fat hand invites an undercut.
