On Privacy: Almanac for Dragonwilds
This policy covers the Almanac for Dragonwilds app only, the free, unofficial companion for RuneScape: Dragonwilds on iPhone and iPad. The studio's website, Arcade and newsletter are covered by the publisher privacy policy.
Almanac for Dragonwilds is made by Manu Games LLC. The app collects no personal data and contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party software development kits. It sends nothing on its own beyond the two requests described below; the only thing you can send is a report you write and choose to send.
Your checklist and profile are stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, that data is stored in your own iCloud account under Apple's terms; Manu Games cannot read it.
The Roadmap screen requests patch notes from Valve's public Steam news service. That request reaches Valve like any web request and includes no identifier from the app.
The app checks Manu Games' own server for updated game data. That request carries no identifier.
If you send a report from Settings, what you write is posted to the public #almanac-for-dragonwilds channel on the Manu Games Discord. It is posted without a name: nothing identifies you. The switch in the form decides what travels with your words. Left on, it sends the app version, the game-data version, your device model, its system version, and a random identifier for this installation, which exists only so one device cannot flood the channel and is not linked to you or to anything else about you. Turned off, only what you typed is sent. Nothing is sent unless you tap Send.
Nothing is sold or shared. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no tracking.
