Hearts is the classic trick-taking card game against three souls from the taproom: pass three, duck the queen, and keep your score low. Play solo, or take a seat at a live, rated table. Free in your browser, no ads, no sign-up.

How to play

Every heart is worth one point and the queen of spades is worth thirteen, and the lowest score wins when someone crosses a hundred. Pass three cards each hand (left, right, across, then none), follow suit when you can, and let no points fall on the first trick. Take every point in a hand and you shoot the moon, handing everyone else twenty-six.

Tips

Void a suit while passing so you can shed the queen or a heart later. Keep a few low cards to duck the lead, and only chase the moon when you hold the high hearts and real control of the table.
