Draughts is Checkers against the almanac, wax seals sliding across a candlelit board: take the forced jumps, crown your kings, and clear the field. Free in your browser, no ads, no sign-up.

How to play

Your seals move diagonally forward one square, and jump an enemy seal to capture it, chaining jumps where they line up. When a capture is offered you must take it. Reach the far row to crown a king, which moves both ways. Take or trap all of your opponent’s seals to win.

Tips

Because captures are forced, you can set a bait: offer one seal to pull your rival into a longer capture of your own. Hold your back row as long as you can; it is the last wall against a new king.
