About Spider Solitaire

Spider Solitaire is the great two-deck patience: 104 cards, ten columns, and eight full suits to assemble from king down to ace. Play it with one suit for a gentle evening, two suits for the classic game, or all four for the full challenge. Unlimited undo, a daily deal the same for everyone, and a fastest-clear community board. Free in your browser, no ads, no sign-up.

How to play

Build columns downward: any card may rest on a card one rank above it, whatever the suit, but a run only moves as one piece when every card in it shares a suit. Assemble a complete king-to-ace suit and it sweeps itself off the table; sweep all eight to win. When nothing fits, deal ten more cards from the stock, one to every column. The old law forbids dealing while any column stands empty, so fill the gaps first. Every move can be taken back.

Tips

Empty columns are worth more than tidy stacks: bare a column early and use it to re-sort mixed runs into single suits. Turn face-down cards whenever you can, since every flip opens new moves. Before each stock deal, tidy the table; ten new cards will bury whatever you leave loose.
