About Golf Solitaire
Golf Solitaire is the quick classic of the golf family: seven open columns of five cards, a waste pile, and sixteen cards in the stock. Send column cards down one rank at a time, up or down, but nothing wraps; the ace knows only the two and the king only the queen. Not every course can be cleared. A nightly course the same for everyone, and the fastest clears go on the community board. Free in your browser, no ads, no sign-up.
How to play
Send any column’s bottom card to the waste when it stands one rank above or below the waste’s top card, whatever the suit. The walls are firm: no wrapping between king and ace, which is golf’s whole character. When nothing fits, turn a card from the stock, but every turn breaks your run. Clear all thirty-five to clear the course.

Tips
Count the walls before you commit: every king and ace ends a run, so plan which of them each stock card must rescue. Chain through the middle ranks where both doors stand open, and favor plays that keep two columns at the same height; a lone tall column is where courses die.
