About Quiz Night

Quiz Night is the taproom’s race through the catechism’s book: four chairs, and the same question put to every one of them at once. The book cycles the six branches — history, geography, science, arts, sport, and myth — and a right answer seals that branch for you. First chair to hold all six seals takes the night; if the book closes first, the count settles by seals, then by right answers. Play solo against three scholars of the room, or live at a rated table. Free in your browser, no ads, no sign-up.

How to play

Read the question, pick one of the four answers before the room’s patience runs out, and watch the reveal: the truth, the story behind it, and every chair’s pick laid bare. Each branch needs sealing only once, however many of its questions you answer right after. The book holds six full cycles — thirty-six questions — and closes on whoever stands tallest.

Tips

Every branch comes round once per cycle, so a missed seal is never gone for good — but the race is to six, and a chair that answers steadily beats one that gambles fast. Read the glosses: the book repeats its themes more than its questions, and tonight’s gloss is next week’s answer.
